Indiana University has eight campuses: the original campus in Bloomington, which is a residential campus and the flagship campus of the Indiana University system. It is also known as "Indiana University Bloomington", "Indiana", or simply IU. Located in the heartland of America, IU is within a day’s drive of one-fourth of the U.S. population.
Included in the Indiana University system is an urban campus in Indianapolis, which also includes the IU Medical Center; and six regional campuses in the Indiana cities of Gary, South Bend, Fort Wayne, Kokomo, Richmond, and New Albany.

Ivy Tech Community College is the nation's largest state-wide community college with single accreditation. It is the state's second largest public post-secondary institution serving more than 111,000 students a year. While students enjoy the benefits of a large institution, with 23 campuses throughout the state and an average class size of 22, students find personal attention close to home at Ivy Tech Community College.
Ivy Tech is the state's most affordable college. Students can earn a degree for less than $6,000. And with credits that transfer, students can save money by completing the first two years of a four-year degree at Ivy Tech.
Accelerated, Certified Training (ACT) is delivered by Ivy Tech Community College's Department of Workforce and Economic Development. It offers local affordable solutions for Indiana business and industry training needs. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana's Bloomington campus serves Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Morgan, Owen counties. The campus opened its doors in 2000. Today it has an enrollment of approximately 4,700 students taking both day and evening classes in full-time and part-time programs.
