Inspired by Love: How Compassion Through Fashion Empowers Women Toward Financial Independence
Join us for Bloomington Women in Leadership: Inspire — Inspired by Love, a heartfelt and inspiring luncheon focused on compassion, community, and empowerment on Tuesday, February 10th, at Ivy Tech's Shreve Hall.
This event will feature Sandy Keller, Director of My Sister’s Closet of Monroe County, as she shares the story behind this impactful local nonprofit and its mission to help women build confidence and financial independence through professional clothing and support services. Sandy will discuss the organization’s origins, the services it provides, and the powerful impact it has had on women in our community. Attendees will also hear directly from clients through video testimonials that highlight real success stories and meaningful transformations.
The program will follow a conversational fireside chat / Q&A format, allowing time for audience questions and engagement. To kick things off, tables will participate in a fun Kahoot trivia activity featuring Monroe County and Bloomington facts, with a special focus on women. The winning table will receive gift certificates to My Sister’s Closet.
As part of the Inspire pillar and in the spirit of giving, attendees are encouraged to bring a piece of jewelry in zip locked bags to donate to My Sister’s Closet for resale in their retail store.
Networking begins at 11:00 AM and the program will begin promptly at 12:00 PM. This event is open to both Chamber members and community members.
