About Stephen: Steve has more than 18 years of experience in public accounting and serves as a leader in Blue & Co.’s Manufacturing Services Group. He works closely with manufacturers and distributors, providing proactive tax planning and compliance services that help clients navigate the unique challenges of a fast-changing industry. Steve takes pride in understanding the operational and financial pressures facing manufacturers today and leverages his expertise to deliver practical, value-driven solutions.
In his role, Steve manages the entire Blue client service team to ensure client needs are met with precision and care. He works directly with business owners and Blue staff to make sure compliance and planning engagements proceed smoothly, while also identifying opportunities for strategic tax savings and long-term growth. His deep involvement in the Manufacturing Services Group allows him to bring industry-specific knowledge to every engagement, giving his clients a competitive edge.
Steve graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Eastern Illinois University and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Saint Louis University. Prior to joining Blue, Steve held roles in the healthcare industry, including serving as Chief Financial Officer for a closely held corporation, and later as a senior manager with a leading specialty tax consulting firm. This wide variety of experience gives him unique insight that he now shares with Blue’s clients, strengthening their businesses and positioning them for success.
