    As part of our dedication to fostering insightful dialogue with distinguished leaders, the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce presents Dignitary Discussions. This premier event welcomes esteemed individuals who have shaped the political landscape, including former governors and other influential figures. Attendees will gain exclusive insights from those with firsthand experience in governance and policymaking.

    The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is hosting Sen. Todd Young for the Dignitary Discussions Presented by Cook Medical and Indiana University on Tuesday, April 15th from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the Monroe Convention Center - Great room. Doors will open at 11:00am, lunch will be served at 11:30am, and the program will begin at noon.

    Sen. Young will update the audience on federal issues that impact the Bloomington and Monroe County area with a wide-ranging conversation covering topics that are crucial to the local business community such as I-69 Corridor, CHIPS Act/Semiconductor Manufacturing/Supply Chain Resilience, National Security and Defense Initiatives, and Trade and Global Economic Policy.

    Serving as a U.S. Senator for Indiana since 2017, Sen. Young currently serves on the U.S. Senate Committees on Finance; Commerce, Science & Transportation; Small Business and Entrepreneurship; and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. Previously, in the House, he served on the House Armed Services Committee, the House Budget Committee, and the House Ways and Means Committee.
