Don’t miss the next Traveling Town Hall with Mayor Kerry Thomson! Join us on Tuesday, December 3, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Monroe Public Library — Downtown, located at 303 E. Kirkwood Avenue. Council member Sydney Zulich will also be in attendance.
As part of our commitment to accessible government, Traveling Town Halls provide an opportunity for residents to engage directly with local officials, ask questions, and learn more about city projects and services. Held every other month by district, these events bring government closer to you—all are welcome!
Here’s what you can expect:
• Upon arrival, you’ll receive an index card to jot down any questions or comments you have for Mayor Thomson and the council. Whether it’s about city projects or just a good idea you’ve been holding onto, we encourage you to share your thoughts anonymously.
• At 6 p.m, Mayor Thomson will kick things off with a brief update on the latest city projects and initiatives.
• Mayor Thomson and Council will then read through the collected index cards, addressing the questions you’ve asked.
• If time allows, we’ll wrap up with a live Q&A session to address any additional questions you may have
