Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County Presents Second Annual Screening of It’s a Wonderful Life at Buskirk-Chumley Theater
Join Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County for their second annual screening of the beloved holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life on Saturday, November 23 at 3 p.m. at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.
This timeless film celebrates the power of service and community. Through the story of George Bailey, the film highlights the ideals of selflessness, the importance of supporting vulnerable populations, and the lasting impact of one person's dedication to making a difference.
Inspired by these themes, Habitat invites everyone to enjoy this family-friendly movie as they celebrate 36 years of making a difference in Bloomington. Since 1988, Monroe County Habitat has built more than 233 homes, providing stability and safety for over 863 neighbors, including 493 children.
This event is an opportunity for all to embrace the holiday spirit, reflect on the power of service, and learn more about Habitat's ongoing efforts to create affordable housing and build stronger, more resilient communities.
