The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Legislative Preview on Friday, January 10th from 11:00am to 1:00pm!
Kick off the year in advocacy with the Legislative Preview event, during which the Chamber's Legislative Agenda is presented and state legislators are invited to share their priorities for the upcoming session with Chamber members.
The following legislators represent parts of Bloomington/Monroe County and have been invited to attend:
- State Sen. Eric Koch (District 44)
- State Sen. Shelli Yoder (District 40)
- State Rep. Dave Hall (District 62)
- State Rep. Bob Heaton (District 46)
- State Rep. Peggy Mayfield (District 60)
- State Rep. Matt Pierce (District 61)
The doors will open and lunch will be served starting at 11:00am, and the program will begin promptly at 12:00pm.

The Chamber does not endorse candidates for office at the local, state, or federal levels. The Chamber is an independent organization, separate from the Indiana Chamber and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which do make political endorsements. The Chamber hosts events featuring candidates and elected officials, attending or speaking, in an effort to inform members of local, state, and federal policies, and allows members the opportunity to share their political priorities with the candidates and elected officials.
