    The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce is hosting Sen. Mike Braun for the Federal Focus Presented by Indiana University on Monday, December 11th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Switchyard Park Pavilion. Doors will open at 11:00am, lunch will be served at 11:30am, and the program will begin at noon.

    Braun will update the audience on federal issues that impact the Bloomington and Monroe County area with a wide-ranging conversation covering topics that are crucial to the local business community. He will open by speaking on his priorities for the upcoming year, the atmosphere in Washington, D.C., and his advocacy for veterans. 

    Serving as a U.S. Senator for Indiana since 2019, Braun currently serves on the U.S. Senate Committees: Special Committee on Aging, Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, Committee on the Budget, and the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP).

    Registration for this event will close Monday, December 4th at 12:00pm.


    The Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce supports strong civic engagement for a healthy community and business climate. The Chamber provides nonpartisan information for civic engagement, including information on candidates and issues facing Bloomington and Monroe County.

    The Chamber does not endorse candidates for office at the local, state, or federal levels. The Chamber hosts events featuring candidates and elected officials, attending or speaking, in an effort to inform members of local, state, and federal policies, and allows members the opportunity to share their political priorities with the candidates and elected officials.
