Join the Chamber's Success School and The Mill at the second annual upSTRTER Career Fair!
The upSTRTER Opportunity Fair (STudent Resource fair for Trades & Entrepreneurship Recruitment) will teach High School students critical skills for seeking employment after graduation, introduce them to the entrepreneurial support systems available in Bloomington, and get them in front of hiring businesses. Students will travel to The Mill during school hours and speak with local employers and groups like Ivy Tech and The Mill.
16 booths are available for businesses in the trades and/or entrepreneurship industries. Exhibitors are encouraged to set up an interactive display and answer student questions about the different career opportunities that are available, as well as provide advice on what steps to take in order to achieve a successful career in the trades and/or entrepreneurship fields. Booths will be limited to one business per trade type when possible. Owners are encouraged to be present to talk to the students about their own entrepreneurship story.
