Event Description: Lemonade Day is a free youth program that teaches kids how to start, own and operate their own business using the time-tested model of a lemonade stand. Participants are taught how to create a budget, set profit-making goals, serve customers, repay investors, and give back to the community. They keep the money they make, and are encouraged to spend some, save some and share some of their profits. Businesses and organizations throughout Monroe County will be hosting stands, and donning shades of yellow to show their support. Will you be one of them?!
